The page attached to the returned exam indicates which items I identified in your answers as correct or nearly correct, and what you missed.

I also indicated the grade you received for the exam, and how I evaluated your participation and homework.
IF the course had ended after the first part, you would have received the grade listed under “total so far”.

Remember, the final grade will take into account the independent student project, your performance in the second part of the course, and the second exam. In case were your “total so far” is in between two letter grades I gave both, and underlined the one that I would have settled on, if the first part of the semester were all I could base the grade on.
